Slinky People	1–3	A pose or movement may be suggested by a quick drawing.	Gesture drawing with continuous lines.
Insiders	2–3	Drawing can illustrate a fantasy.	Line drawing of animals, birds, insects.
Contours	4–6	Contour drawings describe edges and shapes of a subject.	Drawing without looking at the paper.
Perspective	7–8	Lines describing planes recede to converge on the horizon.	Using one and two vanishing points to draw linear perspective.
