Susan Rodriguez
Art Author/Artist/Educator
Susan Rodriguez, M.Ed, B.F.A., D.F.A., is an author, artist, and educator who advocates on behalf of art and cultural understanding. Susan is a graduate of the Tyler School of Art, Temple University. She is a seasoned public speaker whose professional appearances span the globe.
She was honored with the Disney American Teacher Award in Visual Arts, the distinguished Milken Family Foundation Outstanding Educator Award, and The National State Teacher of the Year Award. She is the author of The Special Artist’s Handbook, Art Smart!, Culture Smart!, and now, Travels with Monet. |

Susan received an Honorary Doctorate from The Moore College of Art and Design and successfully completed the Art Appreciation and Philosophy Program at the Barnes Foundation. She is an exhibiting artist with a love for traveling and teaching. Susan is an Adjunct Full Professor at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has taught art for many years in the Philadelphia School District to students with special needs as well as bilingual and general populations. |
